A very sacred song calling ambuya and sekuro (literally very respectful terms for aunt and uncle, but in this case meaning ancest0rs) to see the spirit (in the shape of a lion( shumba) from the pool, and to come and bless us and look after us.
lyrics
Vakomana huyai muzoona huyai muone zvinoita mhondoro musango dema ha handeya kumatendera
Pfumo rinobva mudziva – come and see the spear from the pool (that the ancestor sprits leave in the water)
I love this music as it is easy to listen to and shows you that you don't need to spend fortunes on drum kits etc to make good music, all you need is enthusiasm and to love what you are doing and it comes out in music! Fantastic! Jan O'Donnell
